Like everything else, property taxes are affected by the coronavirus. For one, you can’t pay in person. Statements should be mailed out this week, Boone County Treasurer Debbie Ottinger said. She encourages payments to be made on time. “Taxes are due on or before May 11,” Ottinger said about an order issued from Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb. “Taxpayers have until July 10 to pay without penalties being applied.” More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
