On-Stage Foundation today announced the implementation of a new logo for the Red Barn Summer Theatre. The logo was designed by Frankfort resident Paige Gant. According to Gant, the logo is meant to honor the 52-year history of the Barn. Gant says, “I’ve thoroughly enjoyed partnering with the On-Stage Foundation to update the Red Barn’s logo and branding. With this new logo we pay homage to its more than 50 year history while modernizing the look for today’s audiences.”

The logo features red lettering with a stylized “barn and star” image at the center. The star symbolizes summer nights under the stars at the Barn, as well as representing all the talented actors who have appeared on the stage. The star image was inspired by a similar star that was decades ago painted by an unknown company member on the back door leading to the dressing room.

Carol Bartley, vice-president of On-Stage and member of the Marketing Committee says “Paige’s design hits all the marks for us. She incorporated classic elements of the Red Barn with an updated look that will appeal to everyone. We couldn’t be more pleased with Paige and the new logo!”

The Red Barn Summer Theatre opens its 52nd season on June 10th with the farce Deceiving Granny, written by Frankfort’s own Michael Taylor. The Red Barn will also institute a new, more convenient curtain time of 7:30 pm.
