A Boone County Reserve Deputy has resigned from all activities with the department after being accused of drunken driving. Rickey L. Parsons, 57, of Lebanon, had a blood alcohol concentration of more than twice the legal limit when tested Thursday at the Boone County Jail, police reported. The legal limit in Indiana is .08, and Parsons reportedly tested at .191, according to a probable cause affidavit. Parsons resigned his position as a Class A reserve deputy Friday after 33 years “of dedicated public service” with the department, Boone County Sheriff’s Sgt. Chris Burcham said Monday.
