Mr. Richard Eugene Harmon, 76, formerly of Jamestown, Indiana, passed away at his home in Lebanon on Sunday, December 20, 2020.
Mr. Richard Eugene Harmon, 76, formerly of Jamestown, Indiana, passed away at his home in Lebanon on Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born in Lebanon on November 17, 1944, son of the late Ivan Eugene and Martha Virginia (Spaugh) Harmon.
On February 17, 1973, he was married to Jo Ann (Franklin) Harmon in Crawfordsville, Indiana; she survives.
A life-resident of Boone County, Richard was a graduate of Lebanon High School. He attended Purdue University and graduated from Indiana State University.
Richard sold agriculture chemicals for American Cyanamid for 25 + years before beginning his career in the landscaping business. He owned and operated Your Choice Lawn Care for more than 25 years and was a member of Indiana Professional Lawn & Landscaping Association. Richard loved his John Deere Tractor and enjoyed his time spent mowing. He also enjoyed travelling, woodworking, and fishing on Lake Okeechobee. Always one to have a good time, Richard was known to be the “life of the party”. He wanted to be remembered as a pretty good guy.

Private Family Funeral Services are planned for Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon, Indiana. The public may view his service on the Myers Mortuary Facebook page at 2:00 p.m. on December 30th. Interment will follow services at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
