Richard “Rich” Maurice Simone died Monday, October 19, 2020 at his home in Indianapolis, Indiana, at the age of 56. He was preceded in death by his parents, Virginia and A. Richard Simone, and an infant sister.
He is survived by siblings; Michele, Thom, Mike and Jeanna. Rich is also well remembered by Jack Meier and Maggie Meier and will be missed by countless members of the repertory theatre communities of Indianapolis, Miami, and Key West where he gave fully and passionately of himself his entire life. The many awards and other accolades will not balance the loss of Rich.
According to his wishes he will be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when the coronavirus is no longer a threat to attendees.

Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his care.
