Rosa De La Rosa, 77, of Lebanon, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born January 20, 1947, in Pharr, TX, a daughter of the late Margarito and Eluteria Martinez De La Rosa.

 

Rosa graduated from Lebanon High School with the class of 1966. She was the owner of Rosa’s Beauty Salon in Lebanon for many years. Rosa enjoyed gardening, cooking, and taking care of her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the Lebanon Wesleyan Church.

 

Rosa’s faith and discipleship in the Lord carried a bright impact for representing who she was and drew others toward her love for the Lord. If you knew Rosa or even if you didn’t, you were prayed for by her.

 

Survivors include her daughters, Angela Caldwell (George Pogas) of Lebanon and Andrea De La Rosa (Luke Judd) of Bloomington; grandchildren, Devon (Rebecca) Caldwell of Whitestown, AJ Caldwell of Lebanon, Caleb Caldwell of Lebanon, and Bella Caldwell of Lebanon; great grandchildren, Axxel and Evangeline Caldwell; brothers, Julian, Zeke, Juan, Arturo, and Raul De La Rosa; and sisters, Mary Eunice Kamman and Graciela Glenn De La Rosa.

 

In addition to her parents, Rosa was preceded in death by her brothers, Mike, Ruben, Dorcas, Margarito Jr., and Julian De La Rosa; and sisters, Rebecca De La Rosa, Noemi Orosco, and Raquel Rocha.

 

A private family celebration of life will be held at a later date. Final care of Rosa has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
