Rose Marie (Mayhew) Isenhower, 92, of Lebanon, passed away Nov. 16, 2019 at Parkwood.

Rose was born in Boone County, IN, on Aug. 2, 1927 to Edith (Marsh) Mayhew and Roy Mayhew. Rose grew up in Zionsville with her brother David Mayhew. She enjoyed roller skating as a young girl.

Rose married David F. Isenhower on July 11, 1945 in Zionsville. Together they had five children; Danny (Mary) Isenhower (deceased), Dennis (Linda) Isenhower, Wanda (Tom) Volbrecht, Wilbur (Rhonda) Isenhower and Del (Theresa) Isenhower.

Rose worked for many years at Kauffman Engineering until retiring in 2005. She attended Old Union Church in Jamestown and First United Church of Christ in Lebanon. She enjoyed spending time with her family, seeing new places, and having Pomeranians as pets.

In addition to her children and daughter-in-law, Rose is survived by twelve grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother David Mayhew, husband David Isenhower, granddaughter Lauren Isenhower, grandson Andrew Isenhower and son Danny Isenhower.

Family and friends will gather Tuesday, Nov. 19, 2019 for visitation from 4-8 p.m. and the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 20 at 10 a.m. with Scott Ailes officiating in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon. Rose will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lebanon.
