Royal Cleaners & Laundry was the Boone County Chamber of Commerce Impact Award recipient for November. The award recognizes a chamber member who has made positive contributions to the Boone County community. When Art and Theda Dickerson purchased Royal Cleaners & Laundry in 1960 from Art’s parents, Phil and Lora Dickerson, they had no idea they would continue as a family operation for five generations.
