Sandra Doan, 76 of Advance, died Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at her home in Advance.
Sandra was born October 1, 1946, in Honolulu, Hawaii, a daughter of the late Donato Porlas.
She enjoyed reading, spending time with family and grandchildren. Her family dinners were special for her and always included rice.
Survivors include her husband Perle Ray Doan of Advance; sons, George Hewlyn of Hawaii, Donel (Krissy) Doan of Rossville and Darrel Doan of Advance; daughters, Robin Hewlyn of Hawaii and Karen Sue (Jason “Jay”) Luff of Lafayette; along with 21 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather at a later date for a celebration of life dinner. Final care of Sandra has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
