Mrs. Sandra (Foland) Denton went to heaven on Jan. 14, 2021. She was born Jan. 9, 1935 in Noblesville to Cedric and Alice Foland, both deceased. Sandra was one of six children; four sisters and two brothers, Patty (Jerry) Gardner of Westfield, Linda (Jan) Deering of Noblesville, Dorothy (David) Case of Westfield, Steve (Mickie) Foland of Green Cove Springs, FL, and Kenneth Foland of Davie, FL.

On Jan. 17, 1952 Sandra married Mayford Denton. They enjoyed almost 69 years of marriage and had five children; Dixie Kellogg of Oklahoma, James (Deb) Denton of Wisconsin, John Denton of Indianapolis, Jerald (Laura) Denton of N. Liberty and Diana (Frank) Blacksher of Zionsville; eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

Sandra managed several restaurants in downtown Lebanon and worked at Perry Worth Elementary and Lebanon High School. She enjoyed watching her grand and great grandchildren grow up. She was a very good homemaker and will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Family and friends will gather Monday, Jan. 18, 2021 for visitation from 12 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
