| Indiana Conservation Officers located a body in Sugar Creek this afternoon approximately a mile and a half downstream of the Creekside Lodge Restaurant.
The recovery was made by Indiana Conservation Officers, Crawfordsville Fire Department, Crawfordsville Police Department, and the Montgomery County Coroner’s Office.
The Montgomery County Coroner has identified the body as Luke Clark, 26, of Perrysville. No foul play is suspected at this time. An autopsy is scheduled for 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning in Terre Haute.
Luke was reported as a missing person to the Crawfordsville Police Department yesterday afternoon by his employer.
Indiana Conservation Officers and the Crawfordsville Police Department continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the disappearance and subsequent drowning of the victim who witnesses reported Monday at approximately 2:35 p.m. was seen in Sugar Creek floating by the restaurant yelling for help. |
