The Lebanon City Council approved $1,500 from the Food and Beverage tax fund for Shalom House, at Monday’s meeting. Since 2005, Shalom House offers hot meals to the food insecure members of the community in a variety of ways. The longest-running program is a hot meal served from 5-7 p.m. Tuesdays and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturdays. The organization also has a delivery program on Saturdays to the home-bound within city limits.
