The Boone County Special Response Team had a rough couple of days this week, but it was all about training. “This is our SRT team, a multi-jurisdictional team from Whitestown, Zionsville, Lebanon and the Boone County Sheriff’s Office,” BCSO Sgt. Chris Burchum said. Last year was the first for the two-day training that covers teaming up, team movement, weapons manipulation, room entering and engagement. This week, the officers met at Boone Meadow Elementary School to go over some scenarios they could face. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
