Monday, April 20 the Boone County Commissioners extended for another seven days the state of emergency ordinance which was first approved March 17. Under the designation, the Boone County Courthouse, as well as all other county buildings, are still closed to the public. Only the courts and probation services continue and those have been reduced to bare minimums.
Boone County Health Department Emergency Preparedness Director Tom Ryan said the county has 16 coronavirus deaths, two of which are presumed to be caused by COVID-19. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
