FRANKFORT, Ind. – The City of Frankfort is informing the public that INDOT will close State Road 28 West from Prairie Avenue to County Road 200 West on Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 9:00 pm and will reopen Monday, November 8, 2021 at 5:00 am.
INDOT indicated the closure will be to put in a drainage structure on the south side of State Road 28 that will connect to the existing structure on the north side of State Road 28.
“I want to make sure the community and the industrial park are aware of the closure. Third shift and anyone that travels west of Frankfort on State Road 28 early Monday morning will need to find an alternate route,” said Street Superintendent, Jason Forsythe. Central Dispatch, Frankfort Police Department and Frankfort Fire Department have all received notice of the State Road 28 closure.
