Stephen Thomas Balint, 71, passed away Friday morning, January 7, 2022, at Ascension St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis. He was born on June 10, 1950, in Lebanon, Indiana, the son of the late Julius Z. and Kathleen Irene “Katie” (Dawson) Balint.
He was a 1968 graduate of Lebanon High School. Following school, he worked as an electrical and painting contractor for many years. He also had worked for Town and County Beverage for a period of time.
Steve was proud of his sons and granddaughters. His family teased him and called him a road farmer as he enjoyed driving around town. He also enjoyed sports and music.
Survivors include two sons, Craig Stephen (Emily) Balint of Thorntown and Stephen Michael Balint of Westfield; four granddaughters, Addison Rae Tompkins, Alexis Rose Balint, Adrianne Rene Balint, and Gabrielle Merin Balint; sister, Cheryl L. Balint of Lebanon; niece, Kim (Scott) Deffenbaugh of Lebanon; nephew, Stuart (Jody) Lanford of Brownsburg; great nieces and nephews, Anna and Mylee Lanford and Zachary and Dalton Deffenbaugh; and a cousin, Jennie (Jerry) Rudisill of Tolono, Illinois.
No Services are planned. Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory have been entrusted with his care.
