Mrs. Sue Ann Henry, 84, of Jamestown, died Monday, Oct. 18, 2021, at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon.

Sue Ann was born Jul. 15, 1937, in Boone County, daughter of the late Ernest and Freda (Ferguson) Davidson. She married Marvin Eugene “Gene”

Henry on Aug. 26, 1956. He survives.

Sue Ann graduated from Jackson Township High School with the class of 1955. She was a member of the Advance Community Christian Church, where she was always involved; she was the organist for over 65 years and was a part of the women’s fellowship, providing countless funeral meals. Sue Ann was also a member of the Merri Mixers Home Ec Club for 50 years. She also belonged to a card group and loved playing euchre. Her family was especially important to her and she loved supporting her kids, grandkids, and great grandkids in all their activities. Sue Ann and Gene were among the founders of the Western Boone Band Boosters.

Survivors include her loving husband, Gene Henry; sons, Roger (Lisa Beesley) Henry and Brian (Jennifer Dunn) Henry; grandchildren, Casey (Marc) Williams, Kyle (Courtney Mustin) Henry, Jason (Morgan Lefler) Henry, and Brooke Henry; and great grandchildren, Owen Henry, Levi Williams, Andrew Williams, and Dallas Waggoner.

Family and friends will gather Thursday, Oct. 21, for visitation from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. in the Advance Community Christian Church, 305 IN-75, Advance, IN 46102. A funeral service will be held Friday, Oct. 22 at 10 a.m. with Pastor Steve Vitaniemi officiating in the church. Sue Ann will be laid to rest at Old Union Cemetery in Jamestown. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to the Advance Community Christian Church.

Final care of Sue Ann has been entrusted to the Strawmyer & Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
