Sue Ann Sumpter, 59, passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Witham Memorial Hospital in Lebanon, Indiana. She was born November 20, 1960 in Kokomo, Indiana, a daughter of the late Bob Cripe and Carolyn (Toops) Lawson.
Raised in Galveston, she graduated from Cass County High School.
On November 17, 2018, she was married to Terry Sumpter; he survives. She was previously married to Don Huss.
Sue was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, and collecting antique furniture. More than anything, she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include, husband, Terry Sumpter of Lebanon; three sons, Jeremy (Kris) Huss of Lebanon, Joe (Mandy) Huss of Thorntown and Tyler (Sarah) Huss of Lebanon; stepson, Nathan (Michelle) Sumpter of Noblesville; and ten grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Sue was preceded in death by two brothers, Chuck Cripe and Steve Cripe; and a sister, Vickie Fording.
Private Family Graveside Services are planned for Friday, April 3, 2020 at Galveston Cemetery in Galveston, Indiana.
Myers Mortuary in Lebanon has been entrusted with her burial arrangements.
