Mrs. Sue Jane Nance, 87, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Monday, December 13, 2021 at Brownsburg Meadows Assisted Living in Brownsburg, Indiana. She was born in Frankfort, Indiana on August 10, 1934 a daughter of the late Bruce and Ellen Louise (Dale) Myers.
She was a graduate of Frankfort High School and on November 11, 1956 she was united in marriage to Jack L. Nance. He preceded her in death on June 13, 2000; together they shared 45 loving years.
Sue was devoted to her loving family, church family, and friends. She was a faithful member of New Hope Christian Church in Whitestown, Eastern Star of Speedway and the Boone County Homemakers Extension. She enjoyed camping, traveling, being with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter: Lisa A. Brubaker of Indianapolis
Five Grandchildren: Eric Brubaker, Emily Reich, Elaine Brubaker, Jeremy (Laura) Nance, Sara Shelton; six great grandchildren, Ian Brubaker, Riley Reich, Charlotte Reich, Theo Nance, Taylor Reed, Addison Shelton; one brother, Richard “Dick” (Gloria) Myers of Kokomo.
In addition to her parents and husband, Sue was preceded in death by her son, David L. Nance.
Funeral Services are to be held on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. noon, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, In Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held at Myers Mortuary in Lebanon from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home in Lebanon. Interment will follow services on Friday at Green Lawn Cemetery in Frankfort.
