Investigators from the Newton County Prosecutor’s Office arrested a Kentland man in Zionsville for alleged involvement in the murder of a West Lafayette woman.
Investigators, with the help of the Zionsville Police Department, served a search warrant at about 5 p.m. Monday at the apartment of Britney Garrity, 27, who lives in the 1300 block of James Drive. There, hiding under a bed on the second floor, they found Christopher Mathis, 27, of Kentland. Mathis was charged with assisting a criminal, a Level 5 Felony, in connection with the death of Nicole Bowen. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
