The reconstruction project for the Sycamore Street bridge over Eagle Creek is scheduled to begin February 3, 2020. The currently scheduled date of reopening is August 21, 2020. This project involves the reconstruction of the road bridge deck and bridge railing systems and provides new decorative lighting on the rehabilitated bridge. During construction the bridge will be closed to through traffic. The official detour will utilize US 421/Michigan Road, 106th Street and Main Street.
