After a tough eight months of construction, the Sycamore Street bridge in Zionsville is finished and open to traffic. The event was marked with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The bridge closed in February to get a new superstructure, decking and an additional 4 feet of width. The cost was $2 million. Eighty percent was paid by federal grants. The Indiana Department of Transportation oversaw the project. More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
