Mrs. Teresa Yvonne Pratt, 69, of Jamestown, passed away at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana on Wednesday, October 20, 2021, with her loving family by her side. She was born in Metcalf, Illinois on December 18, 1951; a daughter of the late Darwin Lee and Imojean (Mingee) Brewer.
She was a graduate of Shiloh High School in Illinois and received a degree in computer programming from Louis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Illinois.
On April 6, 2000, she was united in marriage to James C. Pratt; he survives.
Teresa was employed with Stoops Freightliner as a parts manager for many years before she retired.
It was important to Teresa to contribute when she could to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and Lakota Indian Tribe. She enjoyed politics, Facebook, birdwatching, fishing with Charlie, and antiquing, but nothing was more important to her than family.
Survivors include her husband: James Pratt of Jamestown; children, Charles (Debbie) Dickerson of Greencastle, Shawn (Johnny Lyles) Kirk of Whitestown; grandchildren, Garrett (Cody Arteberry) Dickerson, Mackenzie Dickerson, Alason Dickerson, Harlee Dickerson; sister, Laura Brewer of Hot Springs, Arkansas; sister-in-law, Carolyn Listner of Petersburg, Indiana.
In addition to her parents, Teresa was preceded in death by a son, David Wayne Dickerson; granddaughter, Jessica L. Spencer and brother, Lonnie Listner, Sr.
Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021 at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be held from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Myers Mortuary and Boone County Crematory is handling her cremation arrangements. Memorials may be made in her memory to the Witham Cancer Center, 2605 North Lebanon Street, Lebanon, Indiana.
