Recently, the Boone County Sheriff’s Department have been receiving multiple complaints that someone by the name of Lt. Davenport with the BCSO is calling community members advising that they have missed jury duty, so they need to pay a fine. The sheriff’s department does not do that. And they do not have a Deputy by that name. If you get one of these calls, please hang up and call (765)482-1412.Please share this post to help spread the word to prevent future victims!
