The Farmers Bank is pleased to announce that One80 Recovery Resources, Inc. has received $150,000 from The Farmers Bank’s recent challenge grant that was authorized by the bank’s Board of Directors.  This grant matched dollar-for-dollar new donations up to $75,000 to ONE80 Recovery Resources between November 10, 2020 and February 28, 2021.

“Our community, like many others in this country, has been adversely impacted by the opioid epidemic.  Besides the devastating effect on the family and on our community, it effects the economic prosperity of Clinton County. This challenge grant will help ONE80 Recovery Resources provide life-changing services that will strengthen local families and provide treatment opportunities for those seeking recovery from addiction. I strongly believe ONE80 Recovery Resources will make a positive impact on fighting the opioid crisis in Clinton and surrounding counties.  The Farmers Bank is proud to be a small part of this vital effort.” said Karen F. Gregerson, President and CEO.

The Clinton County Community Foundation stepped up and fulfilled the challenge grant’s $75,000 amount by awarding a $25,291.81 grant to ONE80 Recovery Resources that will help One80 Recovery Resources finalize funding for Phase 1 of the construction of its new facility in Frankfort, Ind.

“Our Service Committee members felt this grant supports our ‘mentally healthy and drug-free’ aspiration that was identified and prioritized in community conversations conducted by the Foundation,” said Alicia Albertson, chair of the Clinton County Community Foundation Services Committee.  “For our community to be vibrant and supportive, our residents must have access to programs and services that offer formal treatment options leading to recovery. This grant ensures this is possible.”

One80 Executive Director Paul Fry says, “The Farmers Bank’s $150,000 challenge grant is a critical step in allowing us to keep on track with our new timeline,” said Fry, “I also want to thank the Foundation’s Service Committee members for supporting our facility and its programs.  Their commitment to the well-being of our community is inspiring.”
