Frankfort, IN — The Farmers Bank is proud to announce the appointment of two new members to its Board of Directors.
Joining the Board of Directors of The Farmers Bank is Donna J. Lehman and Gregory (Greg) J. Cagnassola. “We are excited to have both Donna and Greg join our Board of Directors. They embody the spirit of community and I am confident they will bring additional insight, expertise and energy to our bank. Adding top talent across all areas of The Farmers Bank, including our Board of Directors, is paramount to serving our customers and communities well. We are very fortunate to be able to attract new directors who are accomplished leaders and have built their own businesses on exceptional customer service and professional advice. Their wealth of knowledge and experience, coupled with their diverse backgrounds, will be an asset to our Board” said Karen F. Gregerson, President and Chief Executive Officer. The addition of Donna and Greg increases the size of The Farmers Bank Board of Directors from 9 to 11 members.
Donna J. Lehman, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Ball State University in Muncie, IN. She is a Certified Public Accountant. In addition to serving on the Board of The Farmers Bank, she also is Founder and Co-Owner of Lehman & Company, P.C. located in Noblesville, IN, where she is blessed to work with all her immediate family including her mother, Jeanne. Prior to Lehman & Company, P.C., Donna also worked as a CPA for Norkus & DelFabro CPA and Geo. S Olive CPA, both located in Indianapolis, IN. She has served her community by her involvement in a number of organizations including former Treasurer with Hamilton County 4H, prior Board Member of Hamilton County Extension Homemakers, Member of Farm Bureau, Inc. of Hamilton County, Member of Indiana CPA Society, and former Treasurer for North Elementary and White River Elementary Parent Teacher Organizations. Donna and her husband, Ken reside in Noblesville, Indiana. They have one son, Ben, who is married to Audrey and one daughter, Emily who is married to David Kuhn. They also have two grandchildren, Faith and Caleb. In her spare time, Donna enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, playing golf, and helping with youth activities. “I am excited to become a part of The Farmers Bank team. I appreciate the culture and commitment of this locally owned bank. I hope my years of service with small businesses and family farms will benefit The Farmers Bank customers” said Donna.
Gregory (Greg) J. Cagnassola, received his Bachelor of Science degree in General Management from Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. He also received his Doctor of Jurisprudence degree while working full-time from Indiana University. He is an Attorney. In addition to serving on the Board of The Farmers Bank, he also is Partner and Counsel for DeFur Voran LLP, Attorneys at Law located in Fishers, IN. Prior to Defur Voran LLP, Greg also worked as Corporate Counsel and Tax Analyst for Inland Container Corporation and Internal Auditor for Ball Corporation. He has been active in the community by serving as Board Member of Fishers Music Works, Advisory Board Member for Boilermaker Business Exchange, past Board Member of Hamilton County YMCA, Mentor for Hamilton Southeastern Academy of Finance, President of Theta Chi Alumni of Alpha Delta Chapter, Inc., Member of Purdue University President’s Council, Member of Indiana State Bar Association, Hamilton County Bar Association, and Indianapolis Bar Association. Greg and his wife, Carrie, are long-time Indianapolis residents. Greg and Carrie are both Purdue graduates, who enjoy attending university events with their sons, Drew, Jack, Tommy and Will (all Purdue alums or current Purdue students). “In my years of practice, I have always been impressed by The Farmers Bank and its people. I am excited to have the opportunity to work with the organization to further increase its presence in the markets they serve as the bank enters its 142nd year” said Greg.
