CDC data shows around 880,000 people have come down with the flu across the U.S. already, based on lab-confirmed infections. That’s the most at this juncture of the season in more than a decade. It’s also been confirmed that one person in Indiana has already died from complications with the flu. Ways to prevent infection or at least help with symptoms of both viruses is to take in lots of Vitamin C and, above all, get vaccinated.
