On Wednesday, March 10, 2021, the Boone County Communications Center received a 911 call from the 200 block of West Main Street in Thorntown Indiana that the caller found her father and stepmother inside their home and reported them as deceased.
Upon arrival, law enforcement was able to confirm that the couple was deceased. They are John Gillan, 77, and Sharon Gillian, 78, of Thorntown. While in the home, first responders smelled an unknown odor and contacted utility companies for assistance. At this time, there is no foul play believed to be involved.
