He was a former employee of Stalcop in Thorntown, Indiana, working and running CNC and header machines. Before Stalcop he worked for Stone Container, in Indianapolis and for the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. He was self-taught and skilled in all the jobs that he did. Tim lived life to the fullest and was never afraid of new adventures.
Survivors include his wife of 22 years, Julie Childress of Crawfordsville, Indiana; four stepchildren; Sammy (Vanessa) Snow of Thorntown, Jon (April) Snow of Lebanon, Chandra (John) Sheets of Crawfordsville, Jimmy (Lindsay) Snow of Crawfordsville; thirteen grandchildren; sister, Kimberly A. (Greg) Martin of Jamestown; niece and nephew, Erika Carter and Gage Carter of Jamestown; great nephew, Breccan Conwell of Jamestown; cousin/sister, Shelby (Amanda) Childress of California.
Friends and family will gather for visitation Saturday, January 16, 2021 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street in Lebanon, Indiana. Those attending are asked to follow the CDC guidelines, please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
A graveside service will be held at a later date at Wells Cemetery in Ano, Kentucky.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the charity of the donor’s choice.
