Clinton County EMA met Saturday morning with the National Weather Service. The National Weather Service has determined a tornado, classified as an EF1., started near the Montgomery County/Clinton County line approximately 2 miles South of Colfax. The tornado traveled on the ground six miles moving towards Frankfort where it lifted near the Green Lawn Cemetery. The tornado had a wind speed of 110 miles per hour. The tornado was on the ground from 10:45 pm to 10:53 pm.
