CLINTON COUNTY, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation announces the right lane
on I-65 southbound will be closed now until Friday, September 13 at 6 a.m. from the 157 to the 155 mile marker. This is to overlay the deck on the Little Potato Creek Bridge located nearly two miles south of State Road 28.
To assist with the maintenance of traffic a temporary traffic signal has been installed at the intersection of U.S. 52 and S.R. 28.
Superior Construction Co., Inc. was awarded the $8 million contract. The project on I-65 includes overlaying the deck on the Lauramie Creek and Little Potato Creek Bridges. The work also includes the bridge removal over the abandoned railroad tracks located just three tenths of one mile north of S.R. 28.
