The City of Lebanon is demolishing two houses on Noble Street next to Timmons Feed and Farm Supply. Planning Director Ben Bontrager said it has been at least a couple of years since the city has taken such action.
“We do have money within the planning department budget to be able to acquire properties like this, where the houses are past their prime,” Bontrager said. “We can come in and clean up the property and if it’s a property that makes sense where a new home can be built, we can make the lots available.” More details in the Lebanon Reporter.
