This afternoon (April 7th), we received positive test results of two additional personal for the COVID-19 virus. The first individual has been in self-quarantine at home since March 23rd and has worked through the illness to where he is no longer symptomatic. He has gone through the suggested period of 72 hours without using medication and has not exhibited any high temperature or other indication of illness during that period. He is expected to return to work early next week.
The second individual started exhibiting symptoms on March 30th and has not been to any department facilities since then. He is progressing through the stages of the illness but has not required any hospitalization at this time. He will remain in self-quarantine until he fully recovers from this illness.
Since these individuals have been at home both stations have undergone a cleaning and disinfectant regimen.
