Significant updates for two local government websites are well underway.
Boone County’s vastly reworked site should be active sometime in September, while a rollout of Lebanon’s new page could happen early next month, the county council and city council were recently told.
Sean Horan, the county’s IT specialist, said the existing site had a lot of information that was outdated or grammatically incomplete. Samples of the new site were displayed on video screens at the county council meeting.
Work on Lebanon’s new site is wrapping up, that according to Joe LePage, the city’s community, economic and redevelopment director, told the board of works and public safety recently. More details on this story is available in the Lebanon Reporter.
