On Tuesday, April 5th at approximately 4:00pm, the Boone County Communications Center was notified of an armed robbery that just occurred at the Verizon store on Whitestown Parkway. Witnesses reported two armed suspects entered the Verizon store, gathered phones from the safe and fled in a silver vehicle. Indiana State Police and Whitestown officers located the suspect vehicle southbound on I-65. A short vehicle pursuit ensued until the suspect vehicle crashed and three suspects fled on foot. At this time two of the three suspects have been detained for questioning.
