The Whitestown Fire Department released a video on its website, wfdfire.org, this week explaining how to administer a potentially life-saving medication.Whitestown Fire Department Chief Josh Westrich, in the video, explained how naloxone (sold under the brand name Narcan) can be administered to anyone suffering from a narcotics overdose to block the effects of opioids and reverse an overdose.
