Whitestown, Ind. – Whitestown Municipal Utilities has issued a precautionary boil water order for Whitestown water customers east of I-65 and south of Whitestown Parkway. This includes the neighborhoods of Royal Run, Maple Grove, and Alinium. Around 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 27 a water main break occurred along Whitestown Parkway at Veterans Drive.
In consultation with the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, it has been determined that these Whitestown Municipal Utility customers should boil their drinking water. This boil advisory is expected to be lifted on Saturday morning.
