Whitestown officials have pledged $100,000 toward the estimated $400,000 in legal fees Boone County will pay for an upcoming court battle with the town’s Meijer store. Officials from the Meijer in Whitestown, at 6650 Whitestown Parkway, have appealed the store’s property tax assessment dating back to 2014, when the store opened.
