William “Bill” Davis, 83, of Colfax, Indiana, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2020 at The Waters of Lebanon. He was born on April 27, 1936 in Johnson County, Indiana; a son to the late Harry A. and Ruth (Webb) Davis.
He was a 1955 graduate of Flat Rock High School in Flat Rock, Indiana.
Bill was a self-employed paint & body auto mechanic, specializing with fire trucks. He had a great personality, a strong work ethic and love for trucks and cars. He also enjoyed a good glass of iced tea and just tinkering in his garage.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by two brothers: Willard M. Davis, Harry A. Davis, Jr.; two sisters, Ersela VanLangingham and Reba Alred.
Funeral Services are planned for 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2020, at Myers Mortuary, 1502 North Lebanon Street, in Lebanon, Indiana.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Wednesday at the funeral home in Lebanon.
Interment will follow services at Rest Haven Cemetery, 650 South Eisenhower Drive, Edinburg, Indiana 46124.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to charity of the donor’s choice.
