The Witham Family YMCA, part of the YMCA of Greater Indianapolis, is expanding its childcare service for essential workers to those in any industry effective immediately. This is in addition to the childcare services that have been offered for Witham Health Services employees since March 17.
The State of Indiana list of essential businesses can be found at https://coronavirus.in.gov/2496.htm and the YMCA asks that only those listed as essential workers use these programs.
The Y program is open to children ages 3 – 12 who will be assigned to small groups of no more than 9 children per Y staff member. The service is offered Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m.
